London, UK – 28th May 2026, EfficiencyIT, a UK-founded specialist in prefabricated modular data centres, IT, and critical communications environments, has appointed Giles Pattison as its new Business Transformation Director.

The appointment bolsters the senior leadership team as EfficiencyIT continues to expand its prefabricated, modular data centre business in response to rising AI and high-density compute demands. It reflects the companies continued commitment to scaling its operations while preserving its customer-first culture, which has defined its growth across a trusted client base spanning enterprise, government, life-sciences, and mission-critical operators.

With more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience, the majority of which was spent within the IT channel leadership team at Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, Giles brings deep expertise in sales strategy, marketing operations, and commercial business transformation across the data centre, channel, and digital infrastructure sectors.

Most recently as Data Centre Commercial Operations and Strategy Director for Europe at Schneider Electric, Giles led integrated commercial revenue and sales operations for the company’s European channel business – coaching a team of senior leaders across multiple markets. Under his direction, the business delivered consecutive years of consistent growth and meaningful market share gains.

“Giles’ appointment is a significant moment as we continue to scale the business and unlock new opportunities for our customers across the UK and Europe, particularly in the AI and data centre spaces” said Nick Ewing, Managing Director, EfficiencyIT. “His commercial acumen, leadership approach, and understanding of how complex organisations function will be instrumental in helping us release capacity, sharpen our long-term strategy, and ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptionally high-standard of service as we continue to grow.”

Giles’ new role at EfficiencyIT has been created to support the founders in scaling the business, developing its long-term strategy, and refining the processes that underpin EfficiencyIT’s continued expansion, particularly in the modular data centre market.

Commenting on his appointment, Giles said: “EfficiencyIT’s leadership team has built genuine credibility in the data centre market, and the business has earned its reputation through impeccable service to a growing client base of enterprise and mission-critical customers. This is an exciting time for the modular data centre industry. Speed to market, scalability, and best-in-class technology will unlock the potential of AI infrastructure, and EfficiencyIT is well-placed to support that growth. I am a firm believer in the power of the partner ecosystem, and I am looking forward to working with the team to help shape the next chapter.”

Giles’s appointment reflects EfficiencyIT’s strategy of investing in senior leadership talent to support its expanding pipeline of modular and prefabricated data centre projects, particularly as AI workloads continue to drive demand for scalable, quick-to-deploy infrastructure across the UK and Europe.
