We are delighted to announce that EfficiencyIT has received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Bronze Award, reinforcing our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.

This award reflects our ongoing support for serving personnel, veterans, reservists and their families. Our pledge is to ensure they are treated fairly and with respect in the workplace. The Bronze Award is the first step in the ERS framework, confirming our dedication to upholding the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant and supporting those who serve our country.

Nick Ewing, our Managing Director, said, “We’re incredibly proud to receive the Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award. The skills, discipline, and adaptability that veterans, reservists, and military families bring are exactly the qualities we value at EfficiencyIT. This recognition reflects our genuine commitment to being a forces-friendly employer, and we look forward to welcoming more members of the Armed Forces community into our team as we continue to grow.”

The military brings exceptional skills to the technology and data centre sectors. Their experience in mission-critical operations, technical problem-solving, and working under pressure translates directly into the demands of delivering critical infrastructure projects, where reliability and operational excellence are essential.

Anthony Soares, our Defence Lead, commented, “I am very proud to be leading EfficiencyIT’s efforts to support military personnel by providing careers and industry guidance, recruiting service leavers into our organisation, building a strong support network for those joining EfficiencyIT and their families, and raising funds for Armed Forces charities.”

Our commitment extends beyond recruitment. We will actively work to create pathways for service leavers entering the technology sector, provide mentorship and industry guidance, and build a supportive environment where military experience is recognised and valued.

As we expand our defence sector work, this Bronze Award is just the beginning. We look forward to continuing to serve the Armed Forces community through our technical expertise and ongoing support for the individuals and families who have given so much.
